My Profile

I am an undergraduate student of International Relations and History at Queen Mary, University of London. During my time at university I have been a committed member of the Model United Nations Society as well as founding the Queen Mary Majlis society, of which I am also the current president. Fostering intellectual discussions and debates focused on the East is the societies goal and is something I am passionate about and committed to. Outside of University, I am an active member of Chatham House where I have had the privilege off being invited to discussions surrounding global affairs and geopolitics. Having grown up in the Middle East has allowed me to approach global affairs from various perspectives and analyse through open minded discussion, which is something I hope to bring at the forefront of my blogs. Encouraging the youth of the future to be more involved is something I have always been an advocate for, being the Director of Communication and Promotion has allowed me to be an advocate for the youth voices in the UK. Beyond university I hope to explore a career in Law within international affairs.
